Cluster Development, a cluster-specialist consultancy firm, launches an innovative training action on eHealth, European eHealth Cluster Manager Training - Implementing successful business models for eHealthSMEs. The training is aimed to personnel working at intermediate organizations like Clusters, Associations, Technological Centres or Living Labs with a focus on ICT or Healthcare.

Participants will:

• Gain in-depth market strategic analysis.
• Learn and compare business models and key decisions of successful eHealth companies (sp. SMEs)
• Share best practices for cluster economic sustainability.
• As an added value, this action aims to become the seed of an European eHealth cluster network.

The training will combine online with onsite meetings. It will take place during May and June 2012, and will last 30 hours of onsite classes, and 10 hours online.

The number of participants is limited to 20.

The Main content of the course is

• Competitive Business Models: Trainers will present a study on the EU eHealth market. The study reviews successful strategies for SME to reinforce competitiveness and growth. It will also introduce success stories, explaining how several SMEs have managed to succeed under different environments. The goal is to provide real-world insight, so that participants can be on a better position to guide eHealth companies to choose their business strategy under the current economic situation.
• Innovative Cluster Management: It will also address sustainability topics, that is, sustainable business models for the intermediate organization itself. It will focus on the identification of projects and services that add value to the eHealth companies.
• Finally, this action aims to become the seed of the eHealth cluster network. Time will be devoted to jointly identify common project and funding opportunities.

The Training cost

• The course fee is 6.000 €.
• Participants will receive 3.000 € for fulfilling a questionnaire describing their cluster, best practices and success stories.
• The closure dinner is included

The number is limited to 20 participants and will strictly follow the pre-registration order.

Pre-registration

• The pre-registration is free and does not generate any payment obligation. It just guarantees a seat on the course, without asking to finally enroll in the training.
• Pre-registration will be opened till the 1st of January 2012.
• All pre-registered participants will receive a special discount to attend the eHealth Week (Copenhagen 7-9 May 2012).

Registration process

Registration will be open from 1st of January 2012 till 28th of February 2012.

The process will be as follows:

1. Participants fill a registration form.
2. Each participant will receive a contractual document signed by Cluster Development with the terms of participation.
3. Participants pay the course fee (6.000 €)
4. Participants will be asked to fill a template with information. Within 10 days on receiving the document, Cluster development will pay the participant 3.000€ for his/her contribution.

The pre-registered participants will have priority over the rest.
